I love doing promo shoots. LOVE them. So needless to say, when Anastasia and I began brainstorming for her shoot, I was excited. Fun doesn’t begin to explain what it’s like to do a shoot for a super creative wedding professional. And creative is exactly what Anastasia is. She is an amazing florist and I’ve had the joy of working with her for Melissa & Matt’s wedding, and we will be working with her again for Brianna & Doug’s wedding in July!
When I do a promo shoot, I like to go about it not just thinking “head shots,” but rather photos that will showcase their personality, what they do, and another aspect of creativity – the setting or backdrop. Anastasia created a beautiful bouquet, brought several props, including several varieties of flowers, vases and some blue ball jars. I thought a fun setting would be a natural landscape so the flowers would really stand out.
You can see the other promo shoot I did last year for Kandice of Green-Eyed Girl Productions (A great wedding coordinator). I’d LOVE to do one for you. Just email me and we’ll begin email@example.com
As you can tell, we had a lot of fun. Despite the 32 degree weather.
Anastasia gave me this beautiful bouquet as a thank you. It’s showcased on our dining room table and makes my house smell sooo good!
I loved her bright pink tool belt!
Anastasia is announcing a workshop! Below are all the fun details!
I will be there to photograph the event!
