Oregon just happened to give us one nice day between a rare snow “storm” and rain showers on Saturday. Yes, it was freezing. So cold in fact that I wore long johns. LONG JOHNS! The only time I sport those babies is when I’m camping under the clear blue sky, but this 32 degree weather called for such drastic measures.
I have been very excited (to say the least) for the shoots I had on Saturday and was watching accuweather.com (very reliable) daily just in insure, or pray to the weather gods, that we would have “nice” weather.
Brianna & Doug were great sports about the shoot! She came dressed in an adorable dress and boots and armed with several props in her “arsenal,” including a 65 Falcon, a 1929 Model A Pickup, and 2 gigantic balloons! They told me that they were shy, but 5 minutes in to our shoot, I found that difficult to believe. I CANNOT (an understatement) wait until their July wedding up the McKenzie! They are so creative and have chosen equally creative and talented vendors.
Brianna & Doug – Thank you for a wonderful afternoon, despite the freezing temperatures! It was great getting to know you a little better, and I know your wedding is going to be absolutely beautiful.![]()

I love this one .

Her Dad brought the 1929 Model A Pickup.

So sweet.

Isn’t she just adorable!?

They brought these tasty drinks.

They brought these tasty sandwiches and cute wrappers too! Brianna and I are friends on facebook and she has seen several (hundred) posts about how much I don’t appreciate meat and my many (hundred) meatless meals. So when she took out her sandwiches, she told me that she thought I was vegetarian, a natural assumption of course. Well, to all of you blog readers, let me clear it up here.
I am a flexitarian.
Flexitarian = meat eating hypocrite.

I love getting these candid looks of love.

These are the gigantic balloons!

So cute.

I love how much they laugh together.

Another one of my favorites.

We still had snow on the ground! That’s how cold it was. What troopers the two of you were!

I absolutely, 100% agree with Jessica. And I’m pretty gushy, so that’s saying a lot. These pics are phenomenal!!!!!
Wow. There’s so much emotion caught in practically each shot. I just enjoyed looking thru this and anticipating what each picture would reveal.
